Our staff is highly trained and dedicated to putting patient satisfaction first. We believe in the “team approach,” and our team includes you, your physician, and your family. When everyone is working toward a common goal, rehabilitation is most efficient and effective. That’s why the WellStar North Fulton Hospital Inpatient Rehabilitation staff invites you and your family members to tour our facility and meet your care team. We want everyone to be certain that this is the best choice.

Our multidisciplinary team consists of:

  • Physiatrists/Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physicians
  • Rehabilitation Nurses
  • Registered Dieticians
  • Physical Therapists (PT’s)
  • Respiratory Therapists
  • Occupational Therapists (OT’s)
  • Case Managers
  • Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP’s)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Our weekly meetings create a collaboration of care for you.

Your rehabilitation care team holds weekly interdisciplinary meetings for every patient on the rehab unit, under the direction of our Medical Director. Weekly team meetings include discussions about each patient’s progress toward established goals and any barriers to progress, effectiveness of the care plan, current medical conditions, changes to the tentative discharge date, and ongoing needs after discharge. In addition, the case manager or physician will inform you of the details of the discussion following each meeting.
